Paper Plains Zine Fest: Zines at the Spencer Research Center @ University of Kansas

The Zine collection at the Spencer Research Library began with the donation of over 1,000 zines from the Solidarity! Revolutionary Library. We collect zines produced locally, regionally, and nationally to help preserve and document the style of media production and as a window to the events surrounding their creation. This session will include a tour of the Spencer library and end with a display of a number of zines from the collection. Attendees will have the chance to explore parts of the collection and think about the ways zines capture history.
